Join the DC Dolphins at the
2014 Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Parade
Who: All DC Dolphin Athletes and parents are welcome to be a part of the parade. Come in your DC Dolphin Jerseys and apparel (Dolphin apparel can be purchased at Team Sales/Sports Authority, 7848 East County Line Rd, Lone Tree, CO 80124)
When: Saturday, August 9th 2014. Meet at 8:00 AM (The parade is from approx. 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM)
All Dolphins will meet at our designated parade staging area RED AREA #33, located at Fair Grounds Drive and Plum Creek Parkway. After the parade, the designated pick up/meeting location will be the Safeway Parking lot. Those participating in the parade will be escorted by Castle Rock Police Department back to the Safeway parking lot.
Parade details….
- ALL Participants will park on South Perry past the Safeway Parking lot there will be Castle Rock Police Officers there to show you where to park
- At Every Fire Hydrant the town Trolley will be picking up and dropping off participants at the Dog Park Entrance
- RED Area #33 at the corner of Fair Grounds Drive and Plum Creek Parkway
- All Parade Entries will Line up Single File in the north lane of Plum Creek Parkway.
- The Parade Route will be north on Wilcox from Perry down to 4th Street, you will take a Right on 4th Street and then a Right on Perry to Travel South.
- The Parade will end at 2nd and Perry at that point all participants will be directed where to go by Castle Rock Police Officers on Site
- Please Do Not Plan on having Children or ANYONE picked up at this corner all participants will be moved back down to the staging area where they can be picked up
- Chamber staff will be wearing and orange Tee shirt and Yellow safety vest for the 2014 Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Parade

- There are No Bathrooms close to the staging area
- Water
- Sunscreen/Hat
- Good walking shoes
- Contact phone numbers of others in your group
- CHARGED cell phone
- Snack – fuel up before the parade
