A 5’4” defender/midfielder, April is a product of the South Florida soccer world.  Playing recreation and travel for Hollywood Wildcats and then West Pines United,
she was the 2008 Miami Herald Player of the Year at Hollywood Hills High School (with a career school record of 114 Goals and 76 Assists). 

She went on to play at Florida International University capping her four year career as team captain and Sunbelt Conference 1st team 
as well as NSCAA All Region 2nd team, helping her squad win the 2011 Sunbelt Championships. 

She has played for the WPSL for the past 8 years with FC Surge, South Florida Strikers, and Miami  Kickers. 
While with the Kickers she earned several Player of the Week honors and finished 2009 season as Regional Player of the Year,
helping the Kickers earn a berth to the WPSL Final 4.

April is an application analyst in Coral Springs and one of the four founding members of the Surge. She coaches youth at Cooper City Optimist (and previously West Pines United and Hollywood Wildcats).
